How to Export Image Fills from Figma
Find and export images used as Figma fills, then compress or convert them for a production handoff.
What is an image fill in Figma?
An image fill is an image applied as the fill of a Figma layer or shape. It may not have a separate export setting on the layer, which can make it easy to overlook when collecting assets manually.
Show fills in the export workflow
Open Turbo Image Compressor & Exporter and enable “Show Fills” to include image fills in the asset list. Wait for thumbnails to load, then select the images required for the handoff.
Choose format and compression
Set the quality level and choose an output format that fits the destination. WebP or AVIF may help reduce web asset size; PNG may be useful when you need lossless output or transparency. Preview the exported image to check important details.
Download and verify the assets
Export the selection and download the processed images when the batch is complete. Check file names, dimensions, transparency, and visual quality before handing the assets to a developer.
